Alongside my Summer Salad Series, I thought it would be great to give you all a few recipes for some yummy dressings!
I created these flavourful dressings to use whenever you change your salad ingredients around or just want to have a different flavour added to the same ingredients in your salad.
Honey Mustard Dressing
This dressing is normally used for root vegetables such as parsnip, carrots, turnips, beetroot or potatoes. If you have a salad that includes any of these, it may be a good idea to use this dressing for that. My recipe only has 5 ingredients, it’s light and not too thin. The thicker your honey mustard, the more bitter it is because of the mustard content.

Balsamic Vinaigrette
This is my favourite dressing. It goes with absolutely every salad possible. I normally use this for a pasta salad, with feta cheese, and roasted pumpkin. It’s got 3 ingredients and compliments the bitterness of any herby salad.

Yoghurt Mint Dressing
You can use this dressing instead of the typical Caesar salad dressing, or whenever you make a salad with avocado, peppers, nuts or beans (edamame/kidney/chickpeas). The cucumber, mint and lime juice in this dressing is extremely refreshing.

Peanut Sauce Dressing
I would recommend this dressing for all kinds of salads that have Asian ingredients such as Chinese cabbage, water spinach, bean sprouts, crispy wonton strips or tofu crumble.
Thai Sweet Chilli Vinaigrette
This dressing goes beautifully with any sweet fruits in your salad such as mango, watermelon or lychee. When you spice up sweet fruits, magic happens!
