Behind The Blog

The Veggie Wifey started in 2016, when Divya got married and started documenting her struggles creating easy home cooked vegetarian food for herself and meat dishes for her husband. This Indian food inspired blog started off as a passion project to help her friends who were in the same situation, and now, The Veggie Wifey has a following of over 10,000 people around the world.

This blog is packed with exciting multicultural delights that can easily be recreated in your own home. Each recipe is originally developed by Divya and tested several times before being published on here. There is no need for the fancy tools or culinary school experience, as she is a self-taught cook herself. The recipes are created with the ‘no experience chef’ in mind, so anyone, from any level of cooking, can use these recipes to make delicious home-cooked meals for their loved ones.
